What style of yoga is this class?
This class is 60 minutes in total and includes 40 minutes of Vinyasa flow followed by 20 minutes of Yin yoga for deep stretching and relaxation.
Is this class suitable for beginners?
Yes. All levels are welcome. Your teacher can offer modifications throughout both the Vinyasa and Yin portions.
What can I expect during class?
You’ll start with an energizing, breath-led flow to build strength and mobility, then wind down with longer, slower Yin poses to release tension and calm the nervous system.
What should I bring?
At Marsh Farm all mats, bolsters and blocks are provided so just bring some water (you can bring your own mat etc if you prefer). At Wallington Hall please bring a yoga mat and some water. We can lend props like blocks or bolsters, but again you are welcome to bring your own if you have them.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely and stay warm during the Yin portion. Some people like to bring a blanket and eye pillow to help with their relaxation during this practice..
How long is the class?
60 minutes total.
Can I attend with injuries or limitations?
Yes—please let the instructor know before class. Always listen to your body and rest when needed.
How early should I arrive?
Please arrive 5–10 minutes early to get settled and start on time.
How do I book?
You can go online to our booking page or you can contact Gemma directly by phone or via the contact page on the website.
Do I have to block book?
No, if you just want to drop in when convenient for you the cost is £12 per session. The benefit of block booking is a reduction in your cost per class (£10 compared to £12) and a guarantee of a place each week.
Can I cancel/change my booking?
If you cancel your booking 24 hours before the start time of the class you will receive a full refund or you can change your booking to another class. If you cancel less than 24 hours before the class you won’t receive a refund but please do still let us know you can no longer attend as we often have people on a reserve list who would appreciate the space being made available.
